I was recently distro shopping I set up on a Virtual Box there were a few checkpoints does the distro playwell with the google products I use & like? Chromium is open source, but it's difficult to see much difference to chrome Picasa of any version google earth these all work nicely with my 5-6 google accounts chromium & earth are properly ported as far as I can tell even the bastardized, picasa is miles beyond shotwell/f-spot for functionality
