It's been a while since I checked on Picasa for Linux and I'm disappointed to say the least!
No Linux release/support since 3.0 - Seriously? Apparently the reason is down to slow up take of 3.0 amongst Linux users. Well the reason for this slow up take, Google, is simple ... there's no native client for Linux. When a photo management tool is sought for a Linux desktop, there are good native ones already around. Why would a user want to run something under WINE??? The up take of Chrome under Linux surely demonstrates that there IS an appetite for native versions. Please pull the collective finger out and drum up a native client for Linux. Duncan -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google-Labs-Picasa-for-Linux" group.
