Hi freshup- I'll keep in mind that there's interest in an article like that. Really the significant difference between the JS version and the Flash version of the code would just be the AS3 - creating a custom infowindow with a button that triggers a save event. You could start with the "tabbed info window" demo from the gallery, and add a Flex button to that - and post back with further questions you may have.
