Hi there, I'm currently trying to build an application for a project I'm working on through my University. What I need to be able to do is have an object that will contain the scale bar (or scaleControl) that will give out the current scale of the map. This object needs to be able to move about the screen and other things like that.
My problem is I can't seem to figure how to add the scaleControl to the object (don't think you can anyway) or what sort of formula to use in calculating that. Maybe I have stumbled across it in my searches, but I'm not THAT great with math and just looking at some of the formulas I've found I can't figure them out for my own use. If anyone has an idea as to what formula I could use or an idea on how to add that scale control to a different object (i.e not on the map itself) it would be greatly appreciated. I've been trying to puzzle this out for a little while now and I haven't been able to contact my other project mates to see if they have any ideas. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks. link_ian19 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API For Flash" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
