Hello, I am just getting started with Google Maps for Flash, and I've been trying to run the sample program (http://code.google.com/apis/maps/ documentation/flash/tutorial-flash.html) with no success. I'm using the newest version (1.18) and I'm working in the Flash CS3 environment. I tried placing the map control inside my own existing program (using the same code and following all the steps laid out in the tutorial), and the map ready event never fires so all I see is a grey box. Next I tried downloading the sample directly and running it (only modification was to add a trace statement to the onMapReady function), but it did the same thing.
My key is for localhost and I am not getting any errors when running in debug mode. I've tried placing the code in a separate file and on the stage directly, same results. Am I missing something, or might this be a problem with my internet connection?
