Hi I'm currently using a library which allowed me to download the shape file and read it, converting polygons or polylines to Flash objects (sprites or movieclips)
I didn't test it in conjunction with Google Maps, but I suppose there would be no problems at all in using the downloaded file as an overlay. I think it only supports points, polylines and polygons, though. Here's the link: http://shp.riaforge.org/ Good luck Carol On 19 set, 02:44, Ashutosh <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi, > > I am using Google Flex API and looking for possible solution of the > following requirement. > > Application will allow the user to download USGS imagery and feature > layers by defining an extent from the map. > The imagery will be downloaded as JPEG bitmap and the vector data will > be downloaded in ESRI Shape (.shp) file format. > If anyone has idea or solution of the above requirement, plz let me > know. > Thanks in advance. > > Regards, > Ashutosh Singh -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API For Flash" group.
