Hey Guys, There are some things you can do with flash styled maps that would be very difficult to do with JS. One of the major things is now that you can fully control styles, you can setup collision detection and path finding client side by using getBitmap and checking for certain colors. An interesting demo might be to start a ball on a road and use "gravity" to let it fall to the bottom following the roads.
Using masks you can create two map instances and literally paint color on. Using the above method you can then even restrict painting to roads, or water etc.. Just thought I would post some of my ideas, if you have any I would love to hear them, if I get some time I will try to build some of the demos I mentioned.
