The german reference contains an error here: the DirectionsEvent's
Properties overview says 'directions' is a Directions object while
some lines further the DirectionsEvent's Constructor overview says it
is a IDirections interface object.
Change the line
var dir:Directions = event.directions;
to
var dir:IDirections = event.directions;
and it should work.
