Yah like Daniel says this isn't an issue with the maps themselves, although
I did find that when using the normal Marker class (this was a little while
back, two minor revisions) it ended up getting sluggish with this many
entries. I found a solution (combining ideas from Jonathan Wagner and Kevin
Luck, those are my original sources at least not sure where they started
from), here's the result http://www.shaunhusain.com/GoogleMapManyMarker/.
Also as Daniel stated doing Geocode.decode calls too quickly in a row will
cause the server to start rejecting requests, if the locations you're
plotting are relatively static I'd advise storing the lat/lng in a DB along
with the rest of your data so you can write a little flash app that uses a
Timer and just geocodes each entry in your table for you over time, then
once it gets done making a pass on all the entries and filling in the
lat/lng you never have to use the decode method again and can plot
instantly.
