Not sure what you're going for here... for example do you want Google maps to provide you with lat/lng data points given some addresses that constitute possible paths that you're allowing then use A* to traverse all the weighted paths (based on distance) and determine what the optimum path is. That is what role should Google maps play in writing an algorithm based on a graph structure, I don't believe the graph data is publicly exposed if that's what you're looking for, my guess is this is the proprietary information of the atlas providers or Google.
