Google,

Alright, so, I know the Flash Maps API is deprecated and obtaining keys are
no longer available. But, I like ask whether there can be some assistance
for what I'm doing.

So, I've got a Flex application called Lucid Viewer. (www.lucid.it). People
are able to purchase this application and build 360° video projects. It had
been my intention on adding a 'mapping' feature into the application where
those who would wish to use it would simply go to the Google site and get a
Key. They would then add this key to an xml file, which would be read by
Lucid Viewer, and allow the Google Maps to work for them on their website.
What I was curious about was whether I could obtain a single key that I
could actually embed into the Flex application that would work for those
who would purchase my application and wished to put the app on their
website - essentially allowing them to use the integrated map features
(using a single key in flex) on their website without having to get a key
themselves. Please let me know if this is possible as I would very much
like to provide them this feature - and, despite the state the API, I would
like to use the Google Maps API for this as I've already used it for
another project (www.lucidcity.tv) and it worked great.

So, again, to be clear. I would like to know if I can request a single API
key that I can directly embed into my Flex application - the .swf generated
by this would be used in conjunction with an HTML page for my clients to
add the app to their web sites (varying urls). Is there a way I can request
a single key that will work for everyone, instead of forcing each person to
get a key (which they can't even do now anyway)!?

Thanks,
Jason
