That certainly seems to work. Be aware that in previous versions of the geocode server, doubling the country info caused the address to be rejected. E.g. if your user entered "Porto Portugal" and you changed it to "Porto Portugal, Portugal", then that would fail. At the moment, "Porto, Portugal, Portugal" is working but I've no idea whether that's stable.
