A photo might not be the best choice for an icon unless it was quite
small, but you could use one. You'll have to upload your photo to
somewhere on the internet though, this isn't a Google Map API specific
issue, all you need is to have a URL of the photo. Still, I would
advise against using photos as icons, there are other ways you can
plunk a photo on the map, search this forum for the third party add-
on's, there are several you can use to do this.
