Good question. What does "the map is hosted on a public web server" mean? Is it enough to host one page which basically redirects requests to maps.google.com, supplying my API key? Can I make a *commercial* iPhone application which connects to that page and provides additional GPS-based services? Obviously, those services won't be available if you visit that page in, say, IE. On a side note, Maps.app contacts wu.apple.com и iphone-maps.apple.com and this little app (http://code.google.com/p/iphone-google-maps- component/) contacts www.wenear.com. Do they do so to comply with the ToS? Pamela, I guess this exact question will arise again and again until it is clearly and unambiguously described in the ToS. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
