If you want to print something for private use, I think there should be no problems.
To get a very large picture I would either screenshot many many pictures and pasted into a program like GIMP or Photoshop etc. The easier and more useful way would be to write a little programm which makes the work for you ;) With the API, some geocode calculations and and code to screenshot it should be possible... But it would take some time and maybe some cool programmer already spend time for that...
