How hard would it be to add the offset option from labeledmarker into mapiconmaker? On my weather map I would like to read the temperature, dewpoint, wind speed and wind direction and plot the values at 45 degree angles from the actual point of the weather station using the flat icon.
Would it be a matter of adding "var labelOffset = opts.labelOffset || new GSize(0, 0);" to the mapiconmaker script and then working labelOffset.width and labelOffset.length into the math of icon.Anchor, icon.infoWindowAnchor and icon.imageMap? My map is located at http://www.udfcd.org/FWP/LDAD/gmap.html, click on Current Temperature to get an idea of what I have so far and then think about having all four data readouts surrounding the weather station.
