You do realise your page requests about eighty .png tiles at once ? The number doesn't seem affected by current zoom level, and of course if you click zoom again before all those eighty have come it bangs off another eighty requests and now there's well over a hundred requests in the pipe ... I'm not sure why that is because I'm not into custom tiles. Your server struggles to deliver too, I had one tile take a minute and a half to come on the first view, and when the traffic jams begin it's into several minutes. The browser renders what it has and reports 'done'.
