Looking good so far.

But I agree with Ralph, the map is too small vertically.
Particularly when you click on a marker and the infowindow opens, the
map has to scroll so far that most of the markers are now not visible.

Also it took a while to realise that the three columns below the map
were actually links to the markers, and that I could click on them.
Only got my attention when I started to turn the markers off & on and
saw that the text below was also changing.

Not related to Google maps...
This could be a problem throughout the site with links.
Take the home page, and this text above the map:

"This site contains information on Shakespeare attractions, Hotels in
Stratford upon Avon and Restaurants in Stratford upon Avon. These
pages aim to act as a kind of ‘rough guide’ for first timers to the
town, while possibly opening a few doors to a couple of the town’s
hidden delights for the more seasoned visitor."

There are three links in that text, but you wouldn't know it by
looking at the page as they are exactly the same style as the text.
Only found them by accident by waving my mouse over the page!
You do really need to somehow make links stand out from normal text.
