Ok thank you! This solves the problem at least for the markers, and in effect, I could've dedicated this from the map's logic... Leaves me with one other sometimes re-occuring problem: the custom overlay doesn't zoom in IE6 and is kind of drag-able... Maybe another before-after-problem in calling getTileUrl or GTileLayer?
