I looks like Google have moved the tiles (which they're perfectly
entitled to do with undocumented stuff). The tiles are no longer hosted
by mapabc.com but by google.cn. E.g.
  http://mt0.google.cn/mt?v=cn1.5&hl=en&x=53954&s=&y=24829&z=16

However, there's now a probably better option, since now the normal
google.com tileservers will currently serve both English and Chinese map
tiles, but using the non-ditu version 86 map graphics.
  English: http://mt1.google.com/mt?v=ap.86&hl=en&x=53954&s=&y=24829&z=16
  Chinese: http://mt1.google.com/mt?v=ap.86&x=54873&s=&y=26772&z=16

In your .getTileUrl() you just have to remove the &hn=en.
