The AJAX loader documentation implies that the language parameter for
Google Maps can take a locale value (i.e. xx_XX). However, I cannot
get it to work with any that I've tried (e.g. fr_CA). I can get it to
work with the language code only (i.e. fr).
The documentation uses this example, which also doesn't seem to work:
google.load("maps", "2", {"language" : "ja_JP"});
Has anyone got a locale value to work for the AJAX loader? I know the
language can be trivially taken from the locale, but then the
documentation should be fixed if this is what needs to be done.
