Hi,

I was wondering if I am experiencing the same problem as LaSalamandra.
My bother and I have developed a website to "FlyAbout" Google maps and
all was working ok until we started getting iE Operation Aborted
messages etc (fine on FF). I reckon it started out of the blue about
2-3 weeks ago. Intermittent, mostly on slower connection speeds (I
have a fast connection and have seen the error 3 times only, my
brother's slower connection at times does not work at all). Also we
believe it is worse when the page is larger (with many more icons/
polylines on the maps).

I had no coding experience of asp, javascript or maps API before
developing this, so our code will be tatty (but the site looks good
and was working!!). I believe all our javascript is in the <HEAD> and
it is all triggered by an onload. I have also tried onload just
setting a timer delay (went up to 10 seconds), before defining maps
but it didn't seem to help. I also thought to "blame an API release"
so have regressed the API version to a date well before the problem
started with no obvious improvement. (Couldn't get v=2.s to work at
all though)

The following link is the "business" page of the site (trying to get
"commissions" for work) which contains example links to North Worcs
Golf Course and Longleat which may fail. The first link (under Main
Example Pages...) is North Worc and is the "largest" page (in terms of
icons) and the worse culprit.

I was wondering if anyone could just have a little look to see if
there is something glaringly obvious in our code (assuming it fails
for you). It may be best to try it in FF first to see what the page
should be like.

Thanks!
