Your browser will cache the data for you.
You can fool the browser into thinking that the URL is different by
adding a bogus parameter onto the end.
url += "?bogus="+(new Date()).getTime();
The bogus parameter is ignored by your webserver. It just makes the URL
look different to the browser cache algorithm.
Or, if you have control of the server configuration, you can set the
"expires" information in the header.
