Thanks, Larry. I've just found that the limit is 100 pins (or thereabouts), after which a new page is automatically generated. But, the good news is that the pins showing on the second page (and all others) can be brought to the front so they appear on page 1 (the base map).

It shows how to create a KML file (I have no idea what that is) from Google Earth, then use it to generate a map with all pins showing.
