Hello, I'm a complete newbie to Google Maps API. I'd like to build a site that uses the panning, zooming, and bubble panes features from the Google Maps API to allow users to view and interact with a building floor plan. For example, zoom in on wing of a building to see detailed room layout and then click on nodes to see textual or photo details about an item in that location. Is this type of thing possible with Google Maps API? I think it is, but I'm not certain that I can use my own floor plan image as the canvas as opposed to the geographic data that google provides.
