The problem seems to be, that the values I get from the map.getCurrentMapType().getName(); are dependant of the viewers language settings or region. Here in germany, the result is "Karte" instead of normal "map". I can't really map all languages outcomes to the constants i need to re- create the maps. Surely, I could do what you do in your script, but that would only work for english users, as any other language would get other values that are not mapped...
