I don't believe it's in accordance with the Terms of Use to automate the generation of keys. It used to say that explicitly; but now it simply says that you have to get a key in accordance with the documentation, which includes a link to the manual-entry page. There is the possibility to include maps in an iframe served from a single domain. For example, for domains called domain001, domain002, you could have a single key for domain000 and serve each domain's map from domain000/domain001, domain000/domain002, and so on.
