Well, yesterday evening it all worked at home (Firefox and IE7). This morning, my app worked in Firefox on my PC, but code.google.com/apis/ maps didn't work in Firefox or IE7. On the PCs of two colleagues PC, it worked in Firefox but didn't work in IE7. These are people who never fire up - or indeed upgrade :-) - IE except to test bugs which I bring them, so I don't think that they will have had a partly cached version.
Anyway, I took Mike's suggestion (I'd been holding down Shift but not Ctrl as well) and now my PC is OK in IE7, and my colleagues' PC work in IE6 too. Thanks for helping out this newbie. By the way, to the people who write the code, you are doing a great job. I wanted to drag a polygon, but I couldn't. So just for fun, I wrote the code to do it - by intercepting "drag" events on a marker, and shifting the polygon along with it - and I was amazed how smoothly it works. There are some very talented Javascript artists behind all this. :-) Nick --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
