clane967 isn't a guy, she's Colette. Tine, this Group isn't the place for anti-virus advice: it's a Group about the Google Maps API. I can't tell whether the hijacked link delivered malware or not. Certainly a full scan with up-to-date AVG shows my machine doesn't have any, but then I normally use Firefox for the Group, and that doesn't run ActiveX. I did post a warning that the links were hijacked. That may have been a product of the server error, but should have been a warning not to click them! It is possible for moderators to do all sorts of things with posts, but the last time I checked (in Firefox!) the links seemed to be OK. Moral: you can't trust anything.
