I have tried creating the maps in a separate function, so as to obtain
function closure, but it made no difference. I think the bug is real.
However, when removing the second parameter, the word "Style:" is gone
and the control looks normal. (with Firefox 2).
I think that for the purpose of a demonstrator, it would be best to go
by the documentation and use only one parameter.
