Actually Marcelo has stated that you need to supply a link to your map. However, since you insist... There have been many examples of maps which are inside several nested divs and I've never come across anything like you describe. I'd have to take a look at your code. If you can't post a link in the Group [don't post a code dump!] then all we can do is recommend you fall back on your Google Premier support contact. A link is required in order that all the parts of your complex code are loaded and rendered correctly and in a manner consistent with how you are doing things yourself, and then things can be examined using tools like Firebug. I think that's what the posting guidelines say, actually. The best I can do without a link to look at things is to suggest you examine your CSS and z-index in particular.
