I've changed the div's "map" to "mapDiv", and it's still showing the
same problem..

Also i've modified the code to add additional line under localinit():
document.getElementById("townSelect").checked=true;

And I've set to run localinit(); just before </body>, so why is IE
still giving me an error saying that the above is null...?
