I admit I'm more of a traditional programmer & I can never quite get my head around scripting. Isn't 'id' a literal value? How can it be undefined? Also, the page loads OK; it's only when I click on an icon or a link that things go wrong. I *do* agree with you that the myclick function is somehow to blame.
