Hi, We've been recently experiencing poor page load times / hanging from our pages with Google Maps used on them.
Pages typically hang first time, in Firefox the status bar at the bottom reads "Transferring data from www.google.com..." - if the page is refreshed it often loads promptly the 2nd time without hanging (but not always). Typical example pages we see this for: http://www.yougodo.com/en/United-Kingdom/United-Kingdom-general/Nuneaton/information/L2641157.aspx http://www.yougodo.com/en/Spain/Madrid/Madrid/information/L3117735.aspx etc. The pages have 3 components that load from Google: Maps, Marker Manager and Analytics. As it is only pages with Maps that appear to be suffering we're concluding the Google Maps are the culprit. We ruled out the Marker Manager as some of the admin pages back-end use the maps without the Marker Manager and they are hanging a lot also. Any ideas what's going on?
