I'll give you a very clear example. In this page https://jdic.dev.java.net/ there is a example of jdic using java named WIN32: Map Explorer. When I select Google Map the program throw a runtime error "GMap 2 is not defined". I have jdk1.6.0_11. This error is thrown in a computer with windows xp. I can use Google Maps without fail if it's a web application, but when I use a java web browser as Jdic to use Google Map in a no web application, (the same situation in WIN32: Map Explorer) I get this exception.
