I'm working with ArcGIS 9.3, and tried using their integrated pop-up generator, which works great for generating the KML files that I'm using here:
http://freeforthepicking.com/ISMAP/ISMAP.html Its just a google map with layers that customers can come in and see what impervious surfaces they are getting charged for. The info buttons need to open for EVERY property, or else the point of the website is moot. The problem I'm having is that the html pop-ups aren't loading consistently - often when you click on one of the "impervious surfaces" polygons, the pop-up won't come up at all (actually, that's 90% of the time). My thought is: because I'm using KML's with 1000's of features (which is more than the maps API is supposed to be able to handle) the pop- ups for some are just disabled/not loaded in the first place. If you or someone you know has tips about how to get all the pop-ups to work OR if you have a solution to the problem that works some other way, I would love to hear from you.
