Hello,

I am using google maps for my thesis project, and I am currently
trying to add markers from xml data, with no success. So far I have
been using TSP for google for its distance calculator, for which i
referenced from here.

http://gebweb.net/optimap/

I have read up on many tutorials, and was trying to come up with an
ordered system that would contain the links to my markers (drop down,
search bar, or even an auto complete) One option I really wanted to
have for my users was the ability to hide the markers, and hide the
links to the markers since the list is so long. I was trying to
reference this tutorial

http://econym.org.uk/gmap/example_categories.htm

So as of now, this distance calculator works, but the markers don’t
show up until I calculate. The building locator has three check boxes,
but when a check them, nothing comes up on the table, or the map. As
for the campus attractions, I was hoping to have a series of vertical
check boxes, for which when checked would display custom icons.

I hope this isn’t a waste of time, but I have been working round clock
to try to figure this out, with no luck. This is the link to my site:

Thanks

Chase
