Great, thanks. I actually tried adding WMSSpec.prototype=new google.maps.TileLayer(), and google.maps.TileLayer.call(this,...) to my WMSSpec constructor without much luck. But by that time I may have messed up other things. I'll try again.
Is that basically what I need to do? Inheritance and javascript are still a mystery to me...
