iPhones OS 3 includes a new MapKit API. However, there are no classes to find near locations of interest, e.g., drug stores near me. I am aware it's possible to do this using an url and opening the maps application but using MapKit allows the maps to be embedded directly in the map.
I've been trying to google what maps API I can use to best do this but am somewhat overwhelmed by the amount of information.
