No problem. Geocode the start and end points and show them on a map.

In which case you might as well use GDirections, which calculates a
good car route for you, and (if cost is based on distance) is likely
to provide a better basis than an as-the-crow-flies distance. And you
don't need to show a map if you don't want to.
