Hi!
I want to show a map with a simple direction from point A to B and
have the viewport automatcally zoomed to the right size and place so
start and endpoint is visible. This is the standard behaviour when I
add a direction to a map with:
directions.load("from: 500 Memorial Drive, Cambridge, MA to: 4 Yawkey
Way, Boston, MA 02215 (Fenway Park)");
Works fine in my example here:
http://www.vision2025.nrw.de/include/inc_gmap.html?mapURL=from%3A+Lindenallee+12%2C+82041+Oberhaching%2C+Germany+to%3A+Lindenallee+1+%2C+82041+Oberhaching%2C+Germany
But if I open the same page in a jQuery Thickbox iFrame the Route is
added to the map but the map is in the smallest zoom level and
centered far away from my route.
You can see this here:
http://www.vision2025.nrw.de/include/my_layout_toukarte_mitDetails.html
Click on the "Goggle Map Content" Link at the bottom for a demo.
Is there a method to set the viewport like the default behaviour would
set it after the map with the direction is loaded? Or has anyone an
idea why the viewport setting is not working in the second example and
how I can avoid this?
kind regards
marcus
