You can't remove the search bar of that map very easily. It's a map generated by the Map Search Control Wizard -- it's designed to allow searching. You need to remove the entire map between <!-- ++Begin Map Search Control Wizard Generated Code++ --> ... <!-- ++End Map Search Control Wizard Generated Code++ --> and add a map of your own similar to the upper map.
