Thanks Mike - I've tried this (or at least to the best of my knowledge
and minute understanding of appending child elements) and now the
slider can move anywhere it wants.
It's something I have no idea to do as I don't completely understand
the way yslider attaches the elements in each div.

At least I know how it's attached to the map :)
