Hi Marcelo. I appreciate the example, and have already had a look at your php page. However what i was looking for was CODE-examples. I had a peek at the js files referenced within the page, but that wasn't exactly what i was looking for.
To others looking for something similar, i suggest looking at Postgre and the addon called PostGIS. This enables you to store spatial data. Mark McLaren has a nice tutorial on connecting PostGis with google maps.
