Everything is now fixed, thanks to Larry, Rossko, and Ralph -- very
appreciated!
What I did first (after Rossko brought to my attention) was realize
that I was pointing to the wrong search URL(.xml file), which I did
change.
Then I declared phone in the lines below, as Ralph & Larry advised.
var marker = createMarker(point, name, address);
AND HERE
function createMarker(point, name, address) {
I just want to say thank you for the quick and VERY helpful responses!
You have all added a year to my life, reducing the amount of stress
that I was going through.
