The GGroundOverlay function is being used currently for the author's
request. From the output, there is transparency for the background.
Creating the image as a KML or KMZ is too large for Google Maps API to
support it. We're looking into using WMS calls (using Mapserver to
render the KML), but it just creates more steps that we would rather
avoid if possible. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
