Hi

I started using a plugin on the Wordpress blog and CMS system enabling
to add maps using the Google Maps API.

I don't know if you know but recently it became possible to create
international domain names, meaning that you can buy domain names
written directly in Japanese, Chinese, Hindi, Hebrew...

There is a code for international domain URLs. All international
domain URLs start with xn--.

I applied for a key with one of my international domains and did
receive one key.

I entered that key in a field of the plugin in my Wordpress admin and
I received an error message telling the key is not valid.

When I go to my website using Firefox, there is no error message but
if I use the Opera browser, I get an error message: This web site
needs a different Google Maps API key. A new key can be generated at
http://code.google.com/apis/maps/.
And this error message comes any time I refresh the website, so any
time I go to another page of the website, this error message comes.

In order to know if the problem was coming from the plugin, I tested
it with a normal domain name (only letters without any accent,
numbers) and there was no error message on Opera.

One user of my website sent me an e-mail telling me she got the same
problem. I don't know yet which browser she is using.

Here is one URL where you can see a map generated by Google Maps API:

Do you have any idea why there are problems with international domain
names ?

Thanks for your supply.
