Ok, changed the table to UTF-8 - doesn't seem to of been to any
detriment.

Have now stumbled across the reason for presumably a lot of other
places not working - it is pulling up american towns...!

Can it be set to only look at the UK? So maybe just append ", UK" to
every search query?
