I hope this is not out of order but I'm writing a native app for the iPhone. I'm expecting to be using the Objective-C GDATA API available from a related group. I think placemarks and shapes, etc can be overlayed onto the Google Map using KML. Imagine a service showing where in the country XYZ is happening now.
I've recently discovered the MapKit framework which looks to work with Google Maps under the hood, and is a little higher level. However it seems to have no way of inputting KML file data. Yes I know there are lots of people here using other languages and even happily creating web applications, but am I able to achieve my project as intended? And which API should I use? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
