Not entirely sure what you mean.

We use Expression Engine as a CMS, but all the code for the front end
is written by hand. It's not generated by a plug-in or anything like
that.

If Firefox I get a syntax error for that line markerOptions = ;
as well as a "load not defined" error that points to the first line.
